For the Trinity River...including Crockett, Riverside, Romayor, Goodrich, Liberty, Moss Bluff...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Trinity River near Goodrich. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 38.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding begins. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 39.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 36.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:45 AM CDT Tuesday was 41.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 36.2 feet Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 36.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 39.3 feet on 04/21/1979. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
