In southeast Oklahoma, Atoka, Coal, Hughes, Johnston and Marshall. In southern Oklahoma, Carter and Murray. * WHEN...Until 645 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1251 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ardmore, Ada, Holdenville, Tishomingo, Coalgate, Wewoka, Wetumka, Dickson, Byng, Allen, Mannsville, Ravia, Stonewall, Wapanucka, Dustin, Lehigh, Tupelo, Mill Creek, Milburn and Francis. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. In east central Oklahoma, Pontotoc and Seminole. In southeast Oklahoma, Johnston and Marshall. In southern Oklahoma, Carter, Garvin, Love and Murray. * WHEN...Until 315 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1014 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms.
