Flood Watch issued April 27 at 8:18PM CDT until April 28 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Norman OK * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Oklahoma, including the following counties, Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Cleveland, Coal, Garvin, Hughes, Jefferson, Johnston, Lincoln, Love, Marshall, McClain, Murray, Oklahoma, Payne, Pontotoc, Pottawatomie, Seminole and Stephens and northern Texas, including the following counties, Archer and Clay. * WHEN...Through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy rainfall is possible from repeated rounds of thunderstorms. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Little River near Sasakwa affecting Hughes and Seminole Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Little River near Sasakwa. * WHEN...Until Monday evening. * IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Flooding of lowlands may occur along the Little River from near the State Highway 99 bridge to north of Sasakwa in Seminole County... to the confluence with the Canadian River in Hughes County. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 4.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 26.0 feet. - Forecast...The Little River is expected to rise to a crest of 25.5 feet tomorrow evening. - Action stage is 24.0 feet. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an alternative route.
