In northeast Oklahoma, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Mayes, Nowata, Okmulgee, Osage, Ottawa, Pawnee, Rogers, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington OK. In southeast Oklahoma, McIntosh and Pittsburg. * WHEN...From 4 PM CDT this afternoon through Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop to the west of the area this afternoon and increase in areal coverage and intensity as they move into eastern Oklahoma this evening and continue into the overnight hours. Illinois River near Tahlequah affecting Cherokee County. Illinois River at Chewey affecting Delaware, Adair and Cherokee Counties. Flint Creek near Kansas affecting Delaware and Cherokee Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Illinois River near Tahlequah. * WHEN...Until Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, minor flooding occurs from near Hanging Rock downstream towards Tahlequah. Floating the river is too hazardous due to strong turbulence. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 5.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.9 feet Monday evening. - Action stage is 9.0 feet. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
