Flood Warning issued June 2 at 10:02AM CDT until June 2 at 3:00PM CDT by NWS Omaha/Valley NE * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Nebraska, including the following county, Platte. * WHEN...Until 300 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1001 AM CDT, trained weather spotters reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain fell early this morning. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Humphrey, Lindsay, Creston, Tarnov and Cornlea. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
