Coastal Waters from Eastport, ME to Schoodic Point, ME out 25 NM... Coastal Waters from Schoodic Point, ME to Stonington, ME out 25 NM... Intra Coastal Waters from Schoodic Point, ME to Stonington, ME... At 954 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located over Bass Harbor Light, or 7 nm northwest of Great Duck Island Light, moving east at 40 knots. Locations impacted include... Baker Island Light, Southwest Harbor, Moose Peak Light, and Bass Harbor Light. Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
