Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 827 AM CDT, Emergency management reported flooding from heavy rain continues. Between 4 and 9 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Spencer In Clay County, Sioux Center, Orange City, Spirit Lake, Windom, Jackson In Jackson County, Hawarden, Milford, Mountain Lake, Lakefield, Hartley, Sanborn, Alton, Arnolds Park, Lake Park, Paullina, Bergen, Primghar, Okoboji and Heron Lake. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Portions of Division St may also begin to flood.
