River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River at St. Louis. * WHEN...From Wednesday morning to early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 32.0 feet, Flood panels at Carr Street and Poplar Street are installed. Water will reach the base of the floodgates at Carr Street at 35 feet, and at Poplar Street at 36.5 feet. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 27.5 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 32.0 feet Thursday morning.
